How it works

Find, book, store, access.

A self-service shop you can walk to, with smart lockers opened from your phone. No shops are open yet — this is the shape of the service.

01

Find

You look for a Lockerroomz shop on your high street, a short walk from home. Right now that search ends on the launch list, because we are still choosing shopfronts. Your postcode tells us where demand actually is.

02

Book

You pick a locker for the thing you need to keep, not a space sized like a spare room. Names such as Parcel, Small, Medium, Suitcase and XL are illustrative until the equipment is fixed. There is no live booking and no price you can pay today. Indicative prices are shown so you can tell us what you would pay.

03

Store

You pop in with what you still use: luggage, golf clubs, sports kit, seasonal things, a pushchair, boxes, or a small amount of stock. You do not arrive with a removal van. If it is hazardous, perishable, or illegal, it does not come in. Need a box or tape? The vending machine in the shop has packing materials.

04

Access

You let yourself in with the app or a code, tap to open your locker, and go. The shop is self-service, so there is no queue, and it is planned to open early till late. If you need a hand, help is in the app or by chat.

Pop in, tap and go.

Self-service means you are not waiting for someone to serve you. The app or a code opens the door, and your phone opens the locker. Each shop is planned to open early till late, with exact hours set shop by shop. Help is in the app or by chat.

The exact lock, app and insurance are part of the equipment we are quoting. They are not published here as if they were already installed. Before anyone stores a suitcase, access, cameras and what happens if something goes wrong will be settled for that shop.

Each shop is planned to sell boxes, tape and packing materials from a vending machine. We also plan to offer parcel collection and returns, but that depends on agreements with carrier partners, which are not yet in place. Until they are signed, parcel services are not confirmed.
